Two years ago today: Best. Schadenfreude. Ever.

Just happened to notice the Daily Schadenfreude from two years ago today, March 15, 2007. And it remains my favorite. It's plenty good enough for a call-back, so here ya go:

How can you not enjoy this one?

Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio), the shrill shrew who called decorated Marine Rep. Jack Murtha (D-Pa.) a coward on the House floor, got what she deserved today.

She slipped and fell in vomit in the Cannon House Office Building.

“She made THE biggest scene in the hallway,” says a staffer who escaped the, um, regurgitation. “It’s literally all down her back.”

What I am feeling now is the very definition of schadenfreude. And it doesn't even need further explication. Just a clean up on Aisle Wingnut.
