A reminder for the mainstream media

This may come as a surprise for those of you who will be insisting (and I know some of you will) that Florida's polls close at 7:00 pm Eastern time (and who can't be bothered to consult a friggin' map), but for your information: part of Florida extends into the Central Time Zone -- namely, the western panhandle, from the Apalachicola River westward to the Alabama state line.

So, even though that's a rather red area, in the interest of maximizing voter turnout, I implore you: DON'T CALL THE ELECTORAL VOTES FOR FLORIDA UNTIL AFTER 8:00 pm EASTERN TIME!!
