Because it's worth remembering

Every so often, especially now that he's the GOP nominee, I like to remind Huggy Bear of the promise he made in October 2006.

"I think I'd just commit suicide [if the Democrats win Congress]," McCain told reporters, to accompanying laughter from Republicans standing with him. "I don't want to face that eventuality because I don't think it's going to happen."

He still hasn't fulfilled that promise. What is the hold-up? Why is he stalling? How can we hold him to his promise? What else will he promise that he can't deliver?
