Molly Ivins (1944-2007)

I've just learned that Molly Ivins passed away today.

Only a few days ago, I posted a get well note to her.

While I didn't read her column as frequently as I would have liked in recent years, still, it was her voice as much as any other that led me into blogging and helped me crystallize my commitment to liberal opinions and causes. Even though I never met Molly, I'll miss her.
