It's a tall order, I admit ... but today on Blast Off! Radio, I'm going to take a stab at something that's been bothering me for a long time: figuring out exactly why wingnuts think the way they do. Is it really as simple as base selfishness, or is there more to it? Why does the wingnut mind believe that teachers are overpaid and that the baby Jesus will cry if taxes are raised on the wealthiest Americans, yet they really, really love pornography? We'll take a dark, sordid trip into the psyche of Wingnuttius maximus this afternoon on the show.

Of course, that's not all! We'll discuss the Republican prospects for 2012 (Mitt Romney? Are you kidding me?) and why Charlie Crist isn't making many friends among the most hard-core right-wing fanatics in the GOP, we'll talk about the latest Republican corruption in Florida, and I'll tell you why the 2010 Census is going to screw over Democrats yet again.
