Wexler to speak at convention
Good for the Democrats ... and good for Florida, too.
Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.), the fire-breathing liberal himself, will speak at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. He'll be on the program on Wednesday, August 27, during the program entitled "Securing America's Future: A Tribute to Veterans, Active Duty Military and Military Families."
So at least there will be one person on the podium in Denver who can speak truth to power and not get all mealy-mouthed about "getting along" or "reaching across the aisle."
