More fun with Blowin' Bob Allen

From Allen compares Rubio to Castro, still won’t resign:
And you thought it couldn’t get any worse! Bob Allen suffers another bout of foot-in-mouth.Man, a closeted gay racist Republican just can't get a break anymore, can he?
From the Palm Beach Post:Rep. Bob Allen said he was disappointed House Speaker Marco Rubio removed him from two committees this morning because he was charged of soliciting an undercover police office. Allen said he is innocent and shouldn’t be punished before his trial starts.
“In Cuba, that’s where you are charged by police, wrapped up and sent off as guilty without a trial,” Allen said. “That’s a Cuba thing, something Fidel Castro does.”
Rubio, of course, is the first Cuban-American to preside over the Florida House. But Allen insisted that’s not what he meant.

In a brief telephone interview Tuesday as he drove his cats to the veterinarian’s office, Allen said his comments had been “taken out of context and character.”
[...]
Allen has denied the charges and said he does not plan to resign from the Legislature. He is termed out of the House next year but plans to run for a seat in the state Senate.
Almost. But not quite.
Stay tuned for the next laughably absurd thing Blowin' Bob says or does. Because you just know it's going to happen ...
