Today's Daily Schadenfreude: Rep. Virgil Goode (R-Va. Douchebag)

Virgil Goode, he of the hateful rant against Rep. Keith Ellison's (R-Minn.) symbolic decision to be sworn into Congress using Thomas Jefferson's Koran, is feeling the backlash in his -- and Jefferson's -- hometown:

At first glance, the window on 1st Street seems normal enough: "Virgil H. Goode, Jr., Fifth District, Virginia." Underneath, carefully stenciled in gold paint, as if to meet the approval of the Board of Architectural Review: "BIGOT."

Goode garnered national attention before Christmas with his comments on freshman Minnesota congressman-elect Keith Ellison's plan to be sworn into office using the Muslim holy book, the Koran.
Now take a look at the bigot himself meeting Rep. Ellison on the House floor Thursday afternoon. Note especially who brought Ellison over to meet Goode (look in the Comments if you're stumped) ...

Congratulations, Virgil "BIGOT" Goode! I gleefully announce that today's Blast Off! Daily Schadenfreude is for you!
